Box Score GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College senior midfielder Bobby Dattilo broke the Hobart Division I career ground balls record this afternoon, but top-ranked Loyola University put a damper on the celebration, leaving Boswell Field with a 17-6 victory. In addition to winning 15-of-24 faceoffs, Dattilo collected a game-high 13 ground balls to raise his four-year total to 274.

Loyola got the goal back 3:49 before the half, but Love scored unassisted with 2:00 to go and Stone fed junior midfielder Jake Silberlicht, who found the back of the next four seconds ahead of the break.

Loyola led 8-4 at halftime.

Like the first quarter, the 'Hounds started the second half with a quick burst of goals. Ratliff, Sean O'Sullivan, and J.P. Dalton scored in a span of just 2:27 to stretch the lead to 11-4. Lusby made it four straight for Loyola, scoring an extra-man goal at the 4:18 mark.

Another flurry of goals to start the fourth quarter put the game out of reach. Butts, Dalton, and Sawyer registered back-to-back goals in just 64 seconds to put Loyola in front 15-6 with 12:36 remaining in the game.

The Greyhounds outshot the Statesmen 42-36, enjoyed a 31-28 advantage in ground balls, and committed six fewer turnovers.
