Hobart College will host Gallaudet University in the first round of the NCAA Division III Football Championship on Saturday, Nov. 23. Kickoff at Boswell Field will be at noon.

Tickets are $8 for general admission, $4 for students with valid ID.

Hobart won its third consecutive Liberty League Championship and an automatic bid into the 32-team field. The Statesmen finished the regular season with a 9-0 record (7-0 in the league), the program's second consecutive undefeated regular season. Hobart is making its third consecutive and eighth overall NCAA Playoff appearance. The Statesmen are 6-7 all-time in NCAA play, reaching the quarterfinal round for the first time in 2012.

Gallaudet went 9-1 and won the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference's automatic bid. The Bison (6-1 in conference) tied Norwich atop the ECFC standings, but earned the program's first NCAA playoff appearance by virtue of a 30-22 victory over the Cadets on Oct. 12.

This will be the first gridiron meeting between the two schools. Hobart and Gallaudet share one common opponent this year, the University of Rochester. The Bison beat the Yellowjackets in Washington, D.C., 37-13 on Sept. 21. The Statesmen closed out the regular season with a 42-21 triumph at Rochester on Saturday.

The winner of the Hobart-Gallaudet game will face the winner of St. John Fisher at John Carroll in the second round at noon on Saturday, Nov. 30.
