The William Smith College tennis team cruised to a 7-2 win over Hamilton College last night in a match played in Clinton, N.Y. The Herons improved to 6-1 overall and are ranked No. 18 in the Northeast Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Remy Raevsky for an 8-5 win at No. 2, and sophomores

Katie Drinkwater edged their opposition 9-8 at No. 3.
Nicoletti posted her second victory of the evening 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2. She is now 9-5 overall in singles play. Leighton also earned a second win of the night and her seventh of the season, coming out on top at No. 3 (7-6, 6-4). Junior
Haley Wolf picked up a 7-5, 6-2 victory at No. 4 to improve to 9-4 in singles, and first-year
Sydney Arsenault battled for a 6-2, 4-6, 10-4 win at No. 5. Arsenault is now 7-4 in singles play this year.
The Herons will be back in action on Saturday, April 6, when they play at TCNJ at 11 a.m.
