Nicole McGlinchy played the opening 57:15 in goal and made two saves. Classmate
Hannah Fricke came in for the final 32:45. The Herons notched their fifth straight and sixth overall shutout.

Just 1:24 in, Buckley connected on a pass from sophomore
Emma Diehl to give the Herons a 1-0 lead. Buckley has logged a team-high five goals and 12 points this season. Then four minutes later, Buckley sent a cross from the left side to find classmate
MaryClaire Pelletier out in front. Pelletier was able to tap the ball over the goal line to make it 2-0. It was her second goal this season.

William Smith continued to open things up in the second half, scoring four more goals. Ruane notched back-to-back tallies both off assists from Longo to give the Herons a 4-0 lead in the 50th minute. First-year
Lauren Kogelmann scored her first collegiate goal in the 65th minute and sophomore
Kara Shue sent home a shot in the 70th minute for the final. Randaccio set up William Smith's fifth and sixth goals.

Bard had its best scoring chance with 13:45 left in the game. Krysta Jurkovic broke by her defender and was streaking into the box for a one-on-one with Heron keeper, Fricke. As Jurkovic pushed the ball forward to create space for a shot, Fricke came running out of the goal and beat Jurkovic to the ball, kicking it away before she had a chance to put a shot on.

William Smith finished with a 27-2 advantage in shots and an 8-0 lead in corners. Kelsey O'Brian played the opening 45 minutes in goal for the Raptors and made one save. Lily Harris came in for the second half and stopped three shots.

The Herons will be back in action tomorrow, Oct. 4, when they take on Vassar in another Liberty League contest at 2 p.m.
