The Hobart College squash team will return to action this weekend, Nov. 22-23, when it competes in the 2014 Liberty League Championships hosted by Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

The 26th-ranked Statesmen will begin the championship weekend taking on No. 5 Rochester on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 3:30 p.m. Hobart will play its second match of the day against No. 2 St. Lawrence at 5:30 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 23, the Statesmen will face No. 59 Bard (0-5) at 11 a.m. and take on host No. 57 Vassar (0-2) at 1 p.m.

Hobart started its season last weekend at the Navy Round Robin in Annapolis Maryland. The Statesmen went 2-2 on the weekend, picking up a pair of 8-1 victories against Stanford and Virginia.

James Pierpont all posted 2-2 records for the Statesmen.

The Statesmen won the Liberty League championship in 2003 and 2004.

Hobart went 2-2 at the 2013 Liberty League Championships. They defeated the Raptors and the Brewers 9-0 but lost to the Yellowjackets and the Saints.
