The William Smith tennis team cruised to an 8-1 win over Bethel in its first match of its spring break trip to Orlando, Fla. The Herons improved to 3-1 this season.

Sydney Arsenault paired up for an 8-5 victory at No. 2. Sophomores
Charlotte Federowicz and
Kelley Hartmann won 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.
Junior
Haley Wolf logged a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles and Nicoletti topped her opponent 6-3, 6-0 at No. 5. Lyon battled for a 6-4, 5-7, 10-2 at No. 3. More triumphed 6-4, 6-3 at the top singles spot and Federowicz picked up a 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 6.
The Herons will be back in action tomorrow, March 18, when they take on New Paltz at 11a.m.
