ResultsThe William Smith College tennis team swept visiting Cortland 9-0 in a match played tonight on the indoor courts in Bristol Field House. The Herons improve to 9-2 this season, while the Red Dragons fall to 4-8 overall.

Casey Nicoletti for an 8-5 victory at the top spot. Sophomores
Charlotte Federowicz and
Kelley Hartmann blanked their opposition 8-0. Sophomore
Hannah Webster and junior
Haley Wolf registered an 8-1 win at No. 3.
William Smith went on to sweep singles play. Arsenault posted a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at No. 1 and Wolf won by default at No. 2. At No. 3, Nicoletti downed her opponent 6-0, 6-0. Federowicz, Hartmann and Webster each blanked their competition 6-0, 6-0 at Nos. 4,5 and 6 respectively.
The Herons will be back in action on Thursday, April 10, when they travel to play at Nazareth at 4 p.m.
