The William Smith College rowing team saw 15 oarswomen, the most in program history, earned a place on the 2013-14 Liberty League All-Academic Team. The four-time defending league champion Herons had more all-academic selections than any other team in the conference.
To be eligible for All-Academic honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2. The following Herons secured a spot on the team:

Blake-Whitney, Davidowitz, and Paige are three-time all-academic selections, while Andersen, Boire, Brayden, Carducci, and Stage are making their second straight appearance on the team.
This season, the William Smith varsity eight won the petite final at the NCAA Division III Rowing Championships. The Herons won gold medals in all four events at the Liberty League Championships and placed all four crews on the podium at the New York State Championships. The William Smith varsity four secured a bronze medal at the ECAC National Invitational Rowing Championships.
