EWING, N.J. - The William Smith College tennis team was defeated by The College of New Jersey 6-3 this afternoon in Ewing, New Jersey. The Herons are now 3-3 this season while the Lions improve to 6-0.

TCNJ took a 2-1 lead at the end of doubles play. Sophomore Hannah More and senior Haley Wolf won at No. 1 doubles 8-4. 

In singles play, More collected her second win of the day. At. No. 1 singles, she defeated Jasmine Muniz-Cadorette 7-6 (7-4), 1-6, 6-2. First-year Michaelann Denton won her fifth straight match at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 7-5.

The Herons will return to action tomorrow when they take on New York University. The match is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
