GENEVA, N.Y. – The William Smith College tennis team cruised to a 9-0 sweep of visiting Nazareth in a match played on the indoor courts in Bristol Field House this afternoon. The Herons improve to 4-5 this season.

In singles play, Arsenault won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 to extend the Heron lead. More clinched the overall victory for William Smith with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1. Wolf also collected a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 2 spot. Denton remains unbeaten this spring winning at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-1, over Adrienne Sharza. First-years

Taylor Ferrari defeated their opponents in straight sets at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively. Cattie bested Lindsey Crawford, 6-3, 6-3, while Ferrari beat Maeve Morgan, 6-3, 6-1.
William Smith will be back on the court on Saturday, April 11, when it hosts Rensselaer. The match is slated to begin at 2 p.m. at the HWS Tennis Center.Â
