William Smith also clinched the Liberty League regular season title and No. 1 seed in the conference tournament with today's win. The Herons are now 15-0-0 overall and 7-0-0 in conference play.

Veronica Romines stopped the lone shot she faced to secure her sixth shutout this fall. It was the ninth straight shutout for the Herons and their 11th this season.

Camaj opened the scoring in the 21st minute off an assist from Shue. The Herons added three more goals in the second half to run away with the game. It was Shue's turn to score in the 51st minute to make it 2-0. Senior
Emma Diehl earned the assist. Â Shue set up another Camaj goal just over 11 minutes later. It was Camaj's third goal this season. Senior
Lauren Randaccio capped the scoring in the 78th minute off a pass from Shue. It was Randaccio's seventh goal this year, and Shue's 11th assist of the season and the 45th of her Heron career.

Kelsey Hartsoe played all 90 minutes in goal for Union and made nine saves. The Herons finished with 20-2 advantage in shots and a 5-2 lead in corners.

William Smith will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 29, when it hosts RIT for its final regular season game at 3 p.m.
