Junior attackman
Frank Brown leads the offense with 43 points on 34 goals and nine assists. NEC Rookie of the Year attackman
Chris Aslanian is second with 35 points (23g,12a). Senior
Cooper Stefaniak leads the midfield, contributing a team-high 50 ground balls and 19 points. The Statesmen are 15th in the nation in faceoff winning percentage (.558) thanks largely to sophomore

Â
Hobart's defense is anchored by junior goalie
Jackson Brown, the MVP of the NEC Tournament. He is 10-6 with a 9.22 GAA and a .526 save percentage. The Statesmen lead the nation in man-down defense (.796).
Â
Hobart leads the all-time series with Towson, 10-3, but the two teams have only met once in the past 35 years, a 9-6 win by the Tigers last season in Towson. The Statesmen and Tigers met three times in the NCAA tournament with Towson outlasting Hobart in overtime in the 1974 Division II championship game, while the Statesmen prevailed in the 1975 semifinals and 1976 quarterfinals.
Â
The Colonial Athletic Association regular season and tournament champion, Towson carries a 14-2 record into the tournament. The Tigers feature the nation's No. 2 scoring defense, yielding just 7.13 goals per game, and the No. 16 man-up offense (.442).
Â
The Statesmen are making their first tournament appearance since 2004. It will be the program's fifth appearance in the Division I tournament. From 1980 to 1994, Hobart played in 15 consecutive Division III tournaments, winning 13 titles, including 12 straight from 1980 to 1991. Between 1974 and 1979, the Statesmen earned five bids to the Division II tournament, winning championships in 1976 and 1977.
