The University of Rochester men's soccer team scored two goals in the second half to rally for a 2-1 win over Hobart College in a non-league match played tonight in Rochester, N.Y.

The Yellowjackets improve to 3-0-0, while the Statesmen fall to 0-3-1.

Mitch Palmer broke through first for Hobart in the 34th minute, tipping in the ball after a throw in by senior
Joe Busuttil. Rochester rallied in the second half. Geoffrey Rouin tied things up in the 62nd minute. He placed his shot into the top right corner from 18 yards out. Jeff Greblick was credited with the assist. It was Greblick who notched what proved to be the game winner in the 85th minute. He took a pass from Mario Yanez Tapia and broke through the Statesmen defense and drilled his shot into the back of the net.

Sophomore
Morgan Sawyer played all 90 minutes in goal for Hobart and finished with six saves. Patrick Conway recorded three saves in net for the Yellowjackets. Rochester held a 15-7 advantage in shots and a 3-2 edge in corners.

The Statesmen will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 14, when they host Potsdam for another non-league game at 4:30 p.m.
