The Hobart College soccer team played 110 minutes against No. 25 Dickinson, but neither team was able to break through and the match ended in a 0-0 tie tonight in Carlisle, Pa. The Statesmen are now 0-1-1 this season.

The Devils are also 0-1-1 to start the season. Sophomore
Morgan Sawyer played all 110 minutes in goal for Hobart and finished with five saves in his first career shutout. Jeremy Palcan played the entire match in goal for Dickson and made six saves.

The Statesmen held a 15-11 edge in shots, including an 8-3 advantage in the second half. The Devils recorded a 7-3 lead in corners. Dickinson earned three of those corners during overtime, but the Hobart defense held strong.

Hobart will be back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 6, when it hosts St. John Fisher for its home opener at 4:30 p.m.
