The Hobart College soccer team rallied for a 3-1 victory over Union College tonight in a Liberty League game played in Schenectady, N.Y. The Statesmen are now unbeaten in their last nine games.

Hobart improves to 5-2-4 overall and 3-0-3 in the Liberty League. The Dutchmen fall to 8-4-1 overall and 0-3-1 in conference play.

Jason Miller scored first for Union 19:14 into the contest. Griffin Cowles earned the assist on the play. Senior
Hunter Critchlow responded for the Statesmen just under 10 minutes later. Sophomore
Tristan Cornell Roberts sent a free kick into the box and Critchlow scored his third goal of the season on a header. In the 43rd minute, senior
Adrian Colmenares took advantage of a penalty kick to give Hobart a 2-1 lead going into halftime. It was Colmenares' first goal this fall.

Derrick Acheampong notched the insurance goal for the Statesmen in the 87th minute. His shot from the left side of the box came after a pass from junior
Mitch Palmer. It was Acheampong's second goal this season.

Alec Kaminer played all 90 minutes in goal for the Statesmen and finished with three saves. John Weitzman made five saves in goal for Union. Each team recorded 13 total shots. Hobart held an 8-4 edge in shots on goal. Each team earned four corners.

The Statesmen are back in action tomorrow, Oct. 14, when they travel to take on Rensselaer in another Liberty League contest at 5 p.m.
