The No. 4 William Smith College soccer team earned a 1-0 non-conference win today at Farmingdale State. The Herons improve to 14-1-0 with their 11th straight victory and eighth straight shutout.

Veronica Romines to preserve the eventual 1-0 victory. It was Romines' seventh shutout this fall.

The game was a defensive battle with William Smith holding the advantage in shots, 6-3. Romines made two saves for the win, while Daniella Ford stopped four shots in defeat.

The Herons are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 28, when they play their regular season finale at St. Lawrence at 2 p.m.
