EWING, N.J. – The William Smith College tennis team was edged 6-3 by The College of New Jersey 6-3 in non-conference action this afternoon. The loss drops the Herons to 5-5 while the Lions, who are ranked 34th in the latest Oracle/ITA Division III Women's National Team Rankings, are 9-1 on the year.

Alex Greenberg defeated Audrey Chen and Sneha Rangu 8-4 at No. 3. Foley and Greenberg are now 3-3 on the year, playing all three matches in the No. 3 spot. Seniors

Katarina Kostovic defeated Maddy Stoner and Brittany Reedman 8-7 (7-2) at the top of the lineup. Kostovic and More are a team best 7-2 this year. Junior

Allie Perron edged Alyssa Baldi and Anna Presta 8-7 (9-7). Denton and Perron are 5-1 in doubles action this year.
TCNJ won all six singles matches in straight sets. At No. 3 singles, Perron was edged by Katie Buchbinder 7-6 (7-5), 6-1. First-year
Leland Barclay battled Mackenzie Holleran at No. 6 but was edged 7-6 (8-6), 6-2.
William Smith will be back in action next Saturday, April 1, when it hosts Oneonta. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
