The Hobart College soccer team played through 110 minutes to a 1-1 tie with Skidmore in the Liberty League opener for the Statesmen today in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. It's the third overtime game this season for Hobart.

The Statesmen are now 2-2-2 overall and 0-0-1 in conference play, while Skidmore is 4-0-2 this season and 1-0-1 in league play. It's the third straight tie between Hobart and Skidmore in soccer.

Hunter Critchlow scored Hobart's lone goal in the 38th minute. It came on a header off a corner kick sent in by his younger brother first-year
Pete Critchlow. In the 86th minute, Shaun Franz knotted the game at one for the Thoroughbreds. He capitalized on a rebound, off a corner kick. Augustine Okoye earned the assist.

Neither team could net the game winner through the remainder of regulation or in the two overtime periods. Hobart logged a 6-1 advantage in shots in each OT period. The Statesmen finished with a 24-15 advantage in total shots. Skidmore logged an 8-7 edge in corners.

Alec Kaminer played all 110 minutes in goal for the Statesmen and made a season-high seven saves. The seven saves also match his career-high. Sebastian Bosch finished with eight saves in goal for Skidmore.

Hobart is back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 27, when they host RIT for another Liberty League contest at 4 p.m.
