HENRIETTA, N.Y.-The William Smith College swimming and diving team fell to Rochester Institute of Technology 153-76 this evening. The Herons are now 6-2 in dual meets this season.

Emma Wilber and sophomore
Anna Leffler led the way for William Smith against the Tigers. They teamed up with senior
Emily Haskins and first-year
Molly Egan to take second in the 200-yard medley relay, stopping the clock with a time of 1:57.10 Individually, Wilber swam to a first place finish in the 200 individual medley, posting a time of 2:17.95, 56-hundredths of a second ahead of RIT's Emily Lederman. Egan was third four-hundredths of a second back. Wilber closed out her meet in the 100 backstroke, finishing second. She touched the wall with a time of 1:03.26. Haskins finished third in the backstroke with a time of 1:04.76.

Leffler earned first place points in the 100 breaststroke, stopping the clock with a time of 1:13.12. She finished second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:02.00. Leffler beat out the third place finisher at the wall by five-hundredths of a second.

Egan added a second place finish in the 100 butterfly to her third place in the 200 individual medley. She touched the wall with a time of 1:03.03.

Junior
Therese Mandracchia led the way on the diving board for William Smith. On the 1-meter board she was fourth with a score of 159.00. Mandracchia placed fourth on the 3-meter board with a score of 185.75. First-year
Allison Jordan was fifth on both boards.

The Herons will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 27, when it hosts Cazenovia and Wells. The double dual meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in Bristol Pool.
