Box Score CANTON, N.Y.-The William Smith College tennis team was defeated by St. Lawrence 7-2 in a Liberty League contest this afternoon. The Herons fall to 8-4 overall and 2-2 in Liberty League play this season while St. Lawrence is 6-9 overall and 4-1 in the Liberty League.

St. Lawrence won four of their five singles matches in straight sets. Sophomore
Allie Perron earned William Smith's lone singles point defeating Emily Wyman 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 1 spot. Perron is 4-3 this spring, playing all seven matches in the top spot. Greenberg played one of the tightest matches of the day falling to Haley Sherrard in a tiebreaker at No. 5. Sherrard won 2-6, 6-4, 11-9.

The Herons will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they welcome New York University to Bristol Field House. The match with the Violets, who are ranked 21st in the nation, is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
