GENEVA, N.Y-The Hobart College tennis team swept RIT 9-0 in a Liberty League match inside Bristol Field House this afternoon. Today's match was the Statesmen's first conference match of the season. The Statesmen are now 3-1 overall.
Hobart took a 3-0 lead at the conclusion of doubles play. JuniorÂ

In singles play, the Statesmen continued to dominate. Dubrovsky tallied a win over Brennan Bull 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1. Atwater defeated Patrick Matthews 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2. Anderson knocked off Jake Wolicki 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3. Ledford tallied a win 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4. Shung clinched a win over David Trimmer 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5. Molloy closed out the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6.
Hobart will travel to California next week for four matches. The Statesmen will be back in action next Saturday when they play Caltech at 5 p.m.
