Orange, Calif. — The Hobart College tennis team defeated Chapman 7-2 this afternoon. The Statesmen are now 4-2 on the season.

Colin Molloy notched a win in the No. 3 spot 8-5. First-year

Jonathan Atwater closed out doubles play 8-5 with a win over Jacob Lee and Brock DeHaven.
Atwater clinched the match for the Statesmen 6-1, 6-4 against Adrien Rooney in the No. 2 spot. Anderson started off singles play with a loss to Lee 0-6, 0-6 in the No. 3 spot. Shung tallied a win for the Statesmen 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 5 spot. Ledford kept the momentum going with a win 6-3, 6-4 over Luke Bennett in the No. 4 spot. Dubrovsky bested Kamemoto 7-6, 6-2, in the No. 2 spot. Molloy ended the match with a battle falling to DeHaven 6-7, 6-4, 9-11.
The Statesmen will be back in action tomorrow March 19
th when they play Whittier College at 1p.m.
