Whittier, Calif. — The Hobart College tennis team defeated Whittier College this afternoon 6-3. The Statesmen are now 5-2 on the season.

Walker Anderson started off the match strong besting Thomas Koszowski and Maxwell Koszowski 8-4 in the No. 1 spot. First-year

Jonathan Atwater fell 6-8 to Pim Van Der Veer and Matt Yanuck in the No. 2 spot. Junior
Colin Molloy and first-year
Jack Ledford tallied the Statesmen's second point 8-6 in the No. 3 spot.
In singles play Dubrovsky clinched the match for the Statesmen 6-4, 6-1 over Van Der Veer at the No. 1 spot. Ledford knotched a point 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 4 spot. Atwater bested Thomas Koszowski 6-2, 6-2, in the No. 2 spot. Molloy fell to Chris Palacio 1-6, 6-7, in the No. 6 spot. Anderson lost to Yanuck 5-7, 5-7, in the No. 3 spot. Shung tallied a point 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 over Chris Palacio.
The Statesmen will be back in action March 21
st when they travel to Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. The match is set to begin at 5 p.m.
