The game will be broadcast live on WEOS-FM (89.5/90.3 in Geneva). Fans can track the game online with HWS All-Access video and Live Stats.

The game will be the first between the longtime Central New York rivals with both teams nationally ranked since 2009. Hobart (8-1) features one of the top offenses in the nation, ranking second in goals per game (16.11), assists per game (10.22), points per game (26.33) and scoring margin (+6.0). Senior Chris Aslanian and junior Eric Holden share the team lead with 39 points apiece. Holden leads the Northeast Conference and is 10th in the nation in goals per game (3.11), while Aslanian leads the NEC and is eighth in the country in assists per game (2.78).

The Statesmen, behind senior Matthew Pedicine, have dominated at the X, ranking fourth in the country in faceoff winning percentage (.664) and ground balls per game (37.89). Pedicine is third in Division I in ground balls per game (12.22) and fourth in faceoff percentage (.672). With five games remaining in the regular season, he needs just six ground balls to break Hobart's Division I era season record of 115 set by Eric Curry '96 in 1996.

Hobart's defense is limiting opponents to 10.11 goals per game, which ranks 21st in the nation. Junior goalie Sam Lucchesi is seventh in the country in goals against average (9.05) and 10th in save percentage (.573).

Syracuse (5-3) aims to rebound from a 13-10 loss at then No. 12 Notre Dame on Saturday. The Orange average 12.13 goals per game (21st in the nation) while allowing 10.63 (33rd). SU is in the top 10 in the country in extra-man offense (4th, .533), turnovers per game (4th, 14.0), ground balls per game (6th, 36.5) and faceoff winning percentage (9th, .610).

The Orange have won 30 of the 33 Kraus-Simmons Trophy games and hold a 76-26-2 all-time series lead.
