SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The Hobart College Tennis team lost to No. 19 Skidmore 7-2 this afternoon at the Wenger Tennis Courts. The Statesmen are now 8-4 overall and 4-1 in the Liberty League.
The Thoroughbreds led 3-0 at the conclusion of doubles play. First-year

Jonathan Atwater fell 8-2 to Travis Leaf and Suraj Mahtani at No. 2. Junior
Colin Molloy and first-year
Jack Ledford fell 8-6 to Jason Keye and Jack McClaren in the No. 3 spot. Junior
Alan Dubrovsky and sophomore
Walker Anderson fell 8-6 to JT Wynne and Noah Williamson at No. 1.
Skidmore clinched the match in singles play. Ledford fell to Mahtani 3-6, 4-6 at No 4. Atwater bested McClaren 6-1, 7-1 in the No. 2 spot. Shung fell to Connor Biernat 6-7 (4-7), 2-6 in the No. 5 spot. Anderson tallied a win at No. 3 over Williamson 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. Junior
Joe Mallon fell to Yuqi Wang 3-6, 5-7 at No. 6. Dubrovsky fell at No. 1 to Wynne 6-2, 6-7 (3-7), 3-6.
Hobart will be back in action on Wednesday, April 10 when they travel to Rochester, N.Y. to face the University of Rochester. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
