PITTSTON, Pa.-The William Smith College hockey team cruised past King's 11-1 in an United Collegiate Hockey Conference contest at Revolution Ice Centre this evening. With their seventh straight victory, the Herons are 14-7-0 with a 10-2-0 record in conference play.

Jules Kennedy recorded a game-high five points on three goals and two assists for William Smith. It was her first career hat trick. First-year
Alisa Canney also added a hat trick. In total, seven different Herons had multi-point games. Junior
Olivia Williams started in goal and made 12 saves as she won her 10th game of the season.

Raeann Clancey scored for the Monarchs (2-16-1, 1-11-0). Kiva Sierra Stoltz started in goal and made 52 saves in 60 minutes of action.

Mia LaPlante opened the scoring 72 seconds into the game. She picked up a rebound in the slot and flipped a shot past Stoltz for her 10th goal of the season. Senior

Julianna Gong were credited with assists on the goal. Five minutes later, Canney notched her first goal of the game. She wristed a shot from the left faceoff circle into the upper corner of the cage. Her sixth goal of the season was assisted by senior
Kate Klimaszewski and junior
Alison Weiss. The Herons finished the first period with a 24-3 edge in shots on goal.

William Smith carried the momentum into the second period. Kennedy pocketed her seventh goal of the season a mere 36 seconds into the frame. She picked up her own rebound and flipped a shot past Stoltz into the back of the net. Klimaszewski and Scibetta were awarded assists on the goal. Laura Hill scored 21 seconds apart to close out the second period. At the 19:11 mark of the second period, Scibetta beat Stoltz for her 12th goal of the season. Gong registered an assist. Hill tallied her seventh goal of the season with 28 seconds remaining in the frame. Mings notched an assist on the goal.

For the second straight period, the Herons scored in the opening minute. Mings gave William Smith an 8-1 lead 33 seconds into the third period.
