GENEVA, N.Y.—The nation's No. 1 scoring offense returns to action Saturday, March 7, when Hobart College hosts Binghamton University on Boswell Field at David J Urick Stadium. The 15th all-time meeting between the two programs is set for 1 p.m.

Hobart leads the all-time series 9-5. The Statesmen have won the past two meetings, including a 16-7 win in Vestal last season.
Hobart (3-1) aims to rebound from its first defeat of the season, a 21-13 loss at then No. 3 Syracuse. The Statesmen are averaging 20.5 goals per game while allowing 12.75. Hobart is second in the nation in points per game (29.75) and saves per game (15.25), fourth in scoring margin (7.75), fifth in extra-man offense (.632), seventh in shot percentage (.369) and 10th in ground balls per game (37.75).
Tewaaraton Award candidate
Eric Holden leads the NEC and is fourth in the nation in both goals per game (4.25) and points per game (6.25). He's produced at least three goals and five points in every game this season. Sophomore
Jason Knox is second in the NEC and sixth in the country in goals per game (4.0).
Hobart's high-powered offense has been very accurate this season, with Statesmen occupying the top three spots in the conference in shot percentage: first-year
John Herlihy (.588, fifth in the nation), Holden (.515, 16th) and Knox (.500, 18th).
Senior goalie
Sam Lucchesi leads the defense. He's averaging 13.5 saves per game, second in the NEC and 21st in the nation. Lucchesi is 3-1 with a .551 save percentage and a 2.61 GAA.
Binghamton (1-4) comes to Geneva looking to stop a two-game slide. The Bearcats were on the short end of a 15-10 decision at Army West Point on Tuesday. BU is averaging 6.6 goals per game and yielding 14.0. Junior attackman Justin Roderka has a team-high 11 goals. First-year goalie Teddy Dolan has started all five games and has made 74 saves.
