The Statesmen (8-2) are coming off a dominant 31-0 shutout of the University of Rochester last week. Running back Tim Denham Jr. was named the Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week for the second week in a row, rushing for more than 159 yards, scoring three touchdowns, and becoming the first Statesman to hit the 1,000-yard rushing mark since 2013. Linebacker Emmett Forde and kicker/punter Tobias Wefering also earned league honor roll selections.

Hobart leads the Liberty League in scoring, averaging 32.0 points per game. Most of that scoring has come from the potent rushing game. Hobart has run for 2,426 total rushing yards this season, 668 more than any other conference team. In addition to clearing the way for the ground game, the offensive line has done an excellent job protecting the quarterback, yielding just five sacks this season.

The Liberty League Offensive Player of the Year, Denham Jr. remains at the top of the conference with 1,078 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns. Classmate Rayshawn Boswell is second with 925 yards and leads the conference in yards per carry (7.3), rushing touchdowns (14) and total touchdowns (17).

Hobart's defense has allowed the league's fewest total yards per game (252.2) and is conceding just 13.6 points per game. The Statesmen share the conference lead in interceptions with 14.

Forde, the two-time Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year, leads the conference with 14.5 tackles for loss and six sacks while free safety Cal Sullivan is tied for the league lead in interceptions with four. Linebacker Bryan Aguilar is fourth in the conference with a team-high 76 tackles.

Westminster (8-2) enters the game on a five game winning streak, having outscored its opponents 114-18 in the past three games. The Titans are scoring 33.6 points per game and giving up 19.0 points per game. Westminster features one of the top defenses in the nation, ranking fifth against the run (61.3 yds/rush) and 18th against the pass (150.5 yds/g).

This will be the first meeting between the Hobart and Westminster football programs.
