COACHES CORNER:

"Tonight was a great overall team win!" Head coach Derryk Williams said. "Jaylynn McCarthy had an unbelievable night! Elaina played great and Marin stepped into a new role and performed at a high level. It was a huge change of momentum for us when we were getting our serves in and getting them out of system. I also think we came out a little tight which is understandable. The fact that we were able to pull through the first set and then build momentum in the second was awesome. We are so happy with where we are and the direction this team is going!"

UP NEXT:

William Smith will have the weekend off but will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 1 against Vassar College on Homecoming weekend. The match is set to start at 11:30 a.m. at Bristol Gymnasium.
