COACH'S CORNER
"Bowdoin is always a well-coached and physically tough team," Head Coach
Anne Phillips said. "We didn't come out as sharp as we wanted in the first quarter, but then we rallied in the second quarter. In the third quarter, we really started to play and that's when we mounted the lead. Bowdoin is a good team and I think we stepped up to the challenge. We have a big test on Saturday with Salisbury, and I think this was a great game to have before battling them on Saturday."
UP NEXT
The Herons will be back in action Saturday, March 18, when they battle Salisbury at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland. The opening draw is scheduled for noon.
