SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—The William Smith College tennis team fell to Union College this morning in Schenectady, 9-0. The Herons fall to 6-6 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while the Dutchwomen move to 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the Liberty League.

Haley Levine put up a good fight but were edged by Marilena Karadimou and Gracie Nicol, 8-6, at the No. 1 position.
In singles action the Dutchwomen secured the victory, winning all six matches. Goings-Perrot was clipped by Karadimou at the No. 1 spot, 6-4, 7-5, as well as senior
Audrey Camacho at the No. 2 spot against Nicol, 6-1, 7-5.
Levine played at the No. 3 spot against Chara Meidani, but was tripped up, 3-6, 6-0, 10-3, in the closest match of the game.

William Smith will face off against the University of Rochester (4-8) on Thursday, April 6, in Bristol Field House. First serve between the Herons and the Yellowjackets is set for 4 p.m.
