GENEVA, N.Y.— The William Smith College tennis team was tripped up by No. 34 nationally ranked RPI this morning in a conference matchup in Bristol Fieldhouse. The Herons fall to 7-10 overall with a 3-5 mark in conference play, while the Engineers move to 12-4 overall and 5-2 in the Liberty League Conference.
RPI took an early lead in doubles action, earning all three available doubles points. Sophomore

Haley Levine were bested by the No. 9 regionally ranked doubles team, Nicole Ridenour and Lorna Flores Gonzales, 8-3, at the No. 1 position.
The Engineers extended their lead, winning all six singles matches in straight sets. Goings-Perrot was defeated by No. 18 regionally ranked singles player, Ridenour, at No. 1, 6-0, 6-2.

Audrey Camacho put up a good fight against L. Flores Gonzales at the No. 3 spot, but was edged 7-5, 6-3, in the closest match of the game.

The Herons will be back in action tomorrow, April 23, at the HWS Tennis Center for their last regular season matchup against No. 18 regionally ranked St. Lawrence University. First serve between the Herons and the Saints is set for 10 a.m.
