#4 William Smith faces Ithaca in midweek tilt

The William Smith College soccer team, which checked in at No. 4 in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll, continues its three-game homestead tomorrow when it welcomes Ithaca to Cozzens Field. The Herons and the Bombers are scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m.
 
The game will be a rematch of last year's Liberty League Championship game. William Smith and Ithaca played 110 minutes of scoreless soccer before the Bombers claimed the Liberty League title 5-3 on penalty kicks.
 
William Smith enters the week with a 4-0-3 overall record and a 0-0-2 mark in conference play. The Herons are fifth in the conference standings with two points. William Smith is coming off a 1-1 draw with Skidmore last Saturday. Seneca Blakely-Armitage scored the Herons' goal.
 
Ithaca is 5-1-1 overall with a 1-0-0 mark in conference play. The Bombers are tied for third in the conference standings with three points. This past weekend the Bombers defeated Bard 4-0 to open league play.
