Ruth Hotaling scored twice as the 25th-ranked Herons defeated Union 2-1 in a Liberty League contest at College Park Field this afternoon. With the win, William Smith improves to 8-3-3 overall this season with a 4-1-2 mark in conference play.

Kirsten Nelson played all 90 minutes in goal, making five saves.
Sam Friedman scored the goal for the Garnet Chargers (9-3-4, 2-2-2). Maya Koster played all 90 minutes in goal and made 10 saves.

- Hotaling scored the game-winning goal in in the 75th minute. She converted on a penalty kick for her third goal of the season.
