GENEVA, N.Y.—Six different Herons scored a goal as the Herons raced past Bard 6-0 in a Liberty League contest on Cozzens Field this afternoon. With today's victory, William Smith clinched a spot in the league's six-team playoff.

Seymone Rosenberg started in goal and made seven saves in just under 60 minutes of action. McKenna Reeves came in and made five saves in the final 30 minutes.

- With today's win, William Smith is now 9-3-3 overall with a 5-1-2 mark in conference play.

MATCH MOMENTS
- William Smith opened the scoring in the seventh minute. Senior Moira van der Putt fired a shot through Rosenberg's legs for her first goal of the season.
- In the 20th minute, Darby pocketed her fourth goal of the season. She collected a pass from Ruppersberger and slipped a left-footed shot past the goalie. Junior Ruth Hotaling also had an assist on the goal.
- Two minutes later, Ruppersberger picked up a loose ball in the 18-yard box and slotted a shot past Rosenberg for her first goal of the season. Darby was awarded an assist on the goal.
- Sophomore Rachel Lee gave William Smith a four-goal lead in the 29th minute. She ran onto a crossing pass from junior Anna Nichols and fired a shot into the back of the net. It was Lee's first collegiate goal.
- In the 54th minute, sophomore Izzy Thors scored off of a corner kick for her third goal of the season.
- Senior Lindsay Ringbloom rounded out the scoring with her fifth goal of the season. She chipped a shot from the top of the 18-yard box over the goalie and into the back of the net.
