GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart soccer team and Clarkson battled to a scoreless draw in front of a large Homecoming and Family Weekend crowd at Cozzens Field this afternoon. The Statesmen, who are unbeaten in their last three games, are now 1-4-4 on the season with a 1-1-2 record in Liberty League play.

Thomas Chyzowych started in goal and made two saves.
Carter Kladstrup played all 90 minutes in goal for Clarkson (5-0-5, 1-0-2). He made five saves.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Hobart dominated the stat sheet, outshooting the Golden Knights 19-6.
- Hobart had eight corner kicks and Clarkson had one.
MATCH MOMENTS
- First-year Brady Leitner had the game's first two chances in the first 10 minutes. His first shot trickled wide left and the next opportunity missed over the cross bar.
- One minute later, sophomore La Zai Outerbridge had an attempt from the top of the 18-yard box blocked by a Clarkson defender.
- Hobart turned up the pressure in the second half, out shooting the Golden Knights 14-4 in the final 45 minutes.
- In the 50th minute, senior Griffin Patterson nearly broke the deadlock, but his shot went just over the crossbar.
- Outerbridge had another chance in the 64th minute stopped by the Clarkson goalie.
- Eric McKean had Clarkson's best chance in the 61st minute off a free kick. He bent a shot around the Hobart wall but it was smothered by Chyzowych.
- Sophomore Keegan Mulroony had Hobart's best chances in the 70th minute. He carried the ball into the 18-yard box and fired a shot on goal that was blocked by a defender. He picked up his own rebound and took a second shot that was deflected by a defender over the crossbar.
- Clarkson had one last chance in the closing minute, but Luis Cervantes' shot curled wide left.

Hobart will be back in action next Saturday, Oct. 12, when it heads to Poughkeepsie, New York, to take on Vassar. The Liberty League contest is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
