Kayla Ketchabaw scored twice but, the Herons were edged by 14th-ranked Norwich 4-2 in a New England Hockey Conference contest at Kreiztberg Arena this afternoon.

Susan Rotherham also had a multi-point game finishing the night with a pair of assists. Sophomore
Mia Iwicki played all 60 minutes in goal and made 30 saves.
Four different players had multi-point games for the Cadets. Olivia Boyer led the way, scoring twice in the win. Leocadia Clark played all 60 minutes in goal and made 23 saves.
FOR THE RECORD:
- With the win, Norwich is now 5-2-0 this season with a 5-1-0 mark in NEHC play.
- The Herons fall to 3-5-0 overall with a 3-3-0 mark in league play.

- The Cadets were 1-for-3 on the power play. The Herons were 0-for-3 with the extra skater.
SCORING SUMMARY
- Norwich opened the scoring 54 seconds into the game. Livia Brooks scored on the second shot of the game. She snapped a shot from the right faceoff circle past Iwicki for her fourth goal of the season. Anna Lisac was awarded an assist on the goal.
- Eight minutes later Boyer gave Norwich a 2-0 lead. Her third goal of the season was assisted by Libby Lane and Olivia King.
- William Smith made it a one-goal game at the 13:36 mark of the first period. Ketchabaw poked home a loose puck for her second goal of the season. Lauren Legler and Rotherham were awarded assists on the goal.
- Ketchabaw tied the game just under seven minutes into the second period. She wristed a shot from the low slot past Clark. Ketchabaw's third goal of the season was assisted by first-year Rowan Kennedy and Rotherham.
- Jordan Brady scored what would prove to be the game-winning goal at the 12:25 mark of the third period. She snapped a shot from the point past Iwicki. Her third goal of the season was assisted by Alex Leslie and Libby Lane.
- Boyer added an insurance goal with just under three minutes remaining in regulation. Her goal was assisted by Lisac and King.
