The Hobart lacrosse team will play in the State of Michigan for the first time since 1994 when the Statesmen face off against 13th-ranked Michigan at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17. Due to the forecast in Ann Arbor, the game has been moved to the Detroit Country Day School Field House in Beverly Hills, Michigan.
Â
The facility has limited room for spectators so there will be no general ticket sales. Only those fans on the teams' pass lists will be allowed into the Field House.
Â
The game will be broadcast live on
WEOS-FM (89.5/90.3) in the Geneva area. There will also be
live stats available. However, there will not be a webcast of the game on B1G+.
Â
This will be just the second meeting between Hobart and Michigan. The Statesmen defeated the Wolverines 11-7 in an ECAC Lacrosse League game on Boswell Field in 2013.
Â
The last time Hobart lacrosse played in Michigan, the Statesmen defeated Michigan State 15-10 on April 23, 1994. Hobart is 3-0 all-time against the Spartans in East Lansing.
