The Hobart football team will host Moravian in a non-conference showdown on Boswell Field Saturday, Sept. 21. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Former Hobart Head Coach Mike Cragg will conduct the pregame coin toss in celebration of his Hall of Fame career.

The game will be broadcast live on WEOS-FM (89.5/90.3 in Geneva). It will also be webcast on HWS All-Access.

Cragg is Hobart's all-time leader in football victories with 157 across 23 seasons. He led the Statesmen to 11 Liberty League Championships, 10 NCAA Playoff bids, two NCAA quarterfinal appearances and one ECAC Bowl Championship.

- Hobart (1-1) aims to rebound from a heartbreaking 14-7 overtime loss at No. 8 Randolph-Macon last week.
- Senior linebacker Anthony Romano was named the Liberty League Co-Defensive Performer of the Week after recording a team-high 10 tackles, including two for loss and a sack, against the Yellow Jackets.
- First-year defensive tackle Billy Brosko picked up his second Liberty League Rookie of the Week Award in as many games after posting five tackles against RMC.
- Junior punter Vicente Lyon earned the league's special team's performer of the week award for averaging 39.9 yards per punt last week.

SCOUTING REPORT: GREYHOUNDS
- Moravian evened its record by bouncing back from a Week 1 loss to defeat Utica 18-13 in the Greyhounds home opener.
- First-year linebacker Malachi McNeil-Harrison led the defense with eight tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and an interception in the end zone on the game's final play.
- Moravian features a potent passing attack, led by quarterback Jared Jenkins. He's completed 67% of his passes this season for 488 yards and three touchdowns. Receivers Jordan Bingham (15 rec, 132 yds) and Diego Del Castillo (9 rec, 172 yds, 2 TD) are his favorite targets.

- This will be the first gridiron meeting between Hobart and Moravian.
- The Statesmen have played just nine games against teams from the Landmark Conference. Hobart is 3-0 vs. Keystone, 1-0 against Lycoming and 2-3 vs. Susquehanna.
