Ten members of the Hobart football team were accepted into the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, which recognizes academic excellence across the sport. Membership is bestowed upon college football players from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and sprint football who maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career.

The 2026 Hampshire Honor Society class includes a record 2,596 players from 365 schools, representing the largest group in the program's history.

Since 2008, Hobart has had 109 student-athletes earn a spot in the Hampshire Honor Society, including a program-high 12 in 2024. Current Head CoachÂ
Kevin DeWall '00Â has mentored 62 of those honorees during his eight years at the helm.

Over the past four seasons, Hobart has compiled a 30-14 record and made four consecutive postseason appearances—three ECAC Bowls (2022, 2023, 2025) and an NCAA tournament (2024). The Statesmen captured the 2025 ECAC Lynah Bowl Championship, ending the season on a five-game winning streak.
