Statesmen begin homestand against Bombers

The Hobart soccer team will begin a three-game homestand when it returns to Cozzens Field on Tuesday, Sept. 24, to take on Liberty League rival Ithaca. The opening kickoff is set for 4 p.m. and begins a stretch of critical conference games for the Statesmen. Six of Hobart's next seven games will be on Cozzens Field.
 
Hobart is 0-4-2 overall with a 0-1-0 record in conference play. On Friday, the Statesmen were edged by RIT 2-1. Sophomore La Zai Outerbridge scored Hobart's goal.
 
Ithaca enters the week with a 4-2-0 overall. Tuesday will be the Bombers' Liberty League opener. The Bombers are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Cortland
