SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The top-ranked Hobart hockey team scored four unanswered goals in the third period as it rallied for a 5-3 victory over Skidmore in a New England Hockey Conference contest at the Saratoga City Rink this evening. With the win, the Statesmen are 12-0-0 on the season and extend their winning streak to 26 games.

Tanner Daniels led the way for Hobart, recording three points on a goal and two assists. Senior
Luke Aquaro added a goal and an assist. Junior
Damon Beaver played all 60 minutes in goal and made 24 saves as he picked up his seventh win of the season.
Zach Lindewirth scored a pair of goals in the loss for the Thoroughbreds. Evan Brown added a goal and an assist. Tommy Aitken started in goal and made 30 saves.
STREAKING
- With today's win, Hobart extends its unbeaten streak to 37 games (36-0-1). That is the third-longest streak in NCAA Division III History.
- The Statesmen's 26-game winning streak is the fourth-longest streak in NCAA Division III history.

- Hobart is now 12-0-0 overall this season with a 9-0-0 mark in conference play.

SCORING SUMMARY
- The Statesmen opened the scoring at the 9:53 mark of the first period. Junior Kahlil Fontana fired a shot past Aitken for his sixth goal of the season. Juniors Tristan Fasig and Ignat Belov were awarded assists on the goal.
- The Thoroughbreds tied the game with just under five minutes remaining in the opening frame. Evan Brown snapped a shot past Beaver for his fifth goal of the season. Coleman Jenkins and Cooper Rice had assists on the goal.
- Lindewirth pocketed his sixth goal of the season at the 6:42 mark of the second period to give Skidmore a 2-1 lead. The power-play goal was assisted by Coleman Jenkins and Cooper Rice.
- Lindewirth scored a second power-play goal 19 seconds into the third period. He snuck a shot past Beaver for his seventh goal of the year. Danny Magnuson and Kaeden Patrick had assists on the goal.
- Three minutes later, graduate student Austin Mourar started Hobart's comeback attempt. He fired home a shot from the point for his third goal of the season. Senior Cooper Swift and Daniels had assists on the power-play goal.
- Daniels tied the game just over seven minutes into the third period. His ninth goal of the season was assisted by Conor Lally and Aquaro.
- First-year Nick Dimatos scored what would prove to be the game-winning goal with nine minutes left in regulation. First-year Tamas Toth and senior Matthew Iasenza had assists on the goal.
- Aquaro tapped in an empty-net goal with 78 seconds remaining in the game to seal the comeback. Senior Shane Shell and Daniels were awarded assists on the goal.
CLIMBING THE LADDER
- With a goal and an assist in today's game, Aquaro (59g, 53a) now has 112 points for his career. He is tied for seventh on Hobart's career points list with Brian Duffett '90.
- Aquaro's 59 goals are fifth on the Statesmen's career list, five behind Phil McCarthy '91.
- His 53 assists are tied for 19th with Tom O'Bryan '83.
