GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart senior goalie
Tommy Chyzowych made a season-high five saves as the 21st-ranked Statesmen and Buffalo State battled to a 0-0 tie in a non-conference contest on Cozzens Field this afternoon. It was the final non-conference contest for both squads.
Today's game was Chyzowych's fifth shutout of the season.
Carson Smith went the distance in goal for the Bengals. He made four saves as he earned the shutout.

- With their third straight tie, the Statesmen are now 10-0-5 overall this season.

- Buffalo State's best chance came in the first half came in the 39th minute. Faisal Samin had a shot blocked by a defender. He picked up his own rebound, but the second attempt was smothered by Chyzowych.
- Early in the second half, sophomore Griffin Coutts nearly broke the deadlock, but his free-kick attempt was stopped by Smith.
- In the 61st minute, Leitner was robbed of a scoring opportunity by Smith.
- Buffalo State had three scoring chances in the second half robbed by Chyzowych. In the 64th minute, Alik Stasyuk nearly scored on a free kick, but his shot was punched away by the Hobart goalie.
- In the 83rd minute, Chyzowych dove to his right to make a stop on a shot from Aney Djadou.
- Chyzowych's final stop came in the 86th minute. At the last second, he punched a shot from Salvador Gomez over the crossbar.
