The William Smith tennis team will be back in Geneva on Wednesday, April 2, for a nonconference match against the University of Rochester. First serve between the Herons and the Yellowjackets is set for 4 p.m. in Bristol Field House.

William Smith enters the week with a 4-5 overall record and is coming off a 6-1 win over Hartwick on Saturday. Rochester is 7-4 this season after a 7-0 win over Houghton last Friday.

ABOUT THE HERONS:
- Sophomore Mae Kellersman leads the Herons in singles play and is 4-5 in dual matches.
- First-year Bethany Walker is also 4-5 in dual matches this season and is 2-0 in the No. 4 spot.
- In doubles play, sophomore Grace Magna and junior Haley Levine lead William Smith with a 4-3 record in dual matches, including a 2-1 record in the No. 1 spot.
- Junior Maddy Buck and senior Julia Pida are 3-0 in doubles play this season. The duo is 2-0 in the No. 2 spot and 1-0 in the No. 1 spot.
ABOUT THE YELLOWJACKETS:
- Josephine Libby is 10-5 in singles play and is 6-4 in the No.1 spot, while Maya Bravo puts up a 7-4 record in dual matches mainly playing in the No. 4 spot.
- Neha Dania holds a 6-3 record in dual matches. She is 1-0 in the No. 4 spot and 2-0 at the No. 5 spot.
- Libby also leads Rochester in doubles play with partner Katie Yang. The duo is 9-6 overall and 6-4 in the No. 1 spot.
SERIES HISTORY:
- This will be the 25th meeting between William Smith and Rochester.
- The Yellowjackets hold a 19-15 edge in the series, but the Herons hold a 10-9 advantage in Geneva.
- Last time they met on April 3, 2024, William Smith defeated Rochester 6-3 in Rochester. Kellersman, Montagne and Magna all won in three sets to secure the victory for the Herons.
