The William Smith golf team will head to Guilderland, New York, to compete in the 36-hole 2025 Liberty League Championships at Pine Haven Country Club April 26-27.
 
Junior Caroline Gannon leads the Herons this season. She is averaging 86.3 strokes per round, including a third place finish at the Nazareth Invitational earlier this week. Gannon finished 21st at the 2024 Liberty League Championships.
 
Senior Brooke Hogle, sophomore Sophia Pomposello, sophomore Tara Valas, first-year Fiona Garfield, and Gannon will represent William Smith in this year's championship. The seven-team field will also include Ithaca, No. 9 NYU, St. Lawrence, Union, Vassar and Wellesley. The Violets are the defending league champion.
