The William Smith tennis team was named a 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team today. In addition, a record 10 Herons were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The team award is given to an ITA program that has a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.00 scale. All varsity letter winners are factored into the overall team GPA from the current academic year. To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, a student must be a varsity letter winner, have a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale for the current academic year and have been enrolled in her current institution for at least two semesters.

This is the 14th time since 2006 that William Smith has won the team award.

Pida is a four-time ITA Scholar-Athlete while Tetrault won the award for the third time. Levine and Haythorn earned the award for the second time.

William Smith finished the 2024-25 season with an 8-11 overall record, including a 2-6 mark in Liberty League play.
