GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart junior forward
Dorian Paki threw down a career-high 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds, but Union used a hot-shooting performance in the second half to pull away for a 90-72 Liberty League win in Bristol Gym tonight.
Paki had his way in the low post, making 11-of-16 shots, including three dunks. Sophomore
Allen Mordi gave Hobart a spark off the bench, scoring 15 points and grabbing five boards. Junior
Alex Moesch narrowly missed a double-double, posting 10 points while matching Paki's game-high nine rebounds. Senior
Gabriel Bergeron contributed seven points, three steals and three blocked shots. Sophomore
Monty Nedd dished out a team-high six assists.
Union put four players in double digits led by Tanner Tedesco's 24 points and a game-high eight assists. Matthew Garside added 23 points, including four of the Garnet Chargers' nine 3-pointers, and six steals. Christian Dufort and Jack Plesser chipped in 14 points and 12 points, respectively. Plesser also blocked four shots.

First Half: Hobart 38, Union 38
- The first half was hotly contested, featuring nine lead changes and six ties. Neither team led by more than five points.
- Hobart cashed in on the glass, outrebounding the visitors 26-14 on the way to a 13-5 advantage in second chance points.
- Union had the upper hand in points off turnovers, 9-5.
- Garside led all scorers with 15 first half points. Paki led the Statesmen with 12 points.
Second Half: Union 90, Hobart 72
- The Garnet Chargers (13-3, 8-1) came out of the break on a mission. In the first three minutes, they outscored the Statesmen 15-5. Tedesco hit two 3-pointers while Dufort added another during the run.
- Mordi completed a traditional 3-point play with under 14 minutes remaining to pull Hobart within five, 59-54.
- Union scored eight of the next 10 points to restore their double-digit lead.
- The Statesmen (11-5, 5-4) trailed by at least eight points and as many as 22 the rest of the way.

- Hobart will host RPI (12-4, 8-1) at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24. The Engineers won their fourth in a row, topping Vassar 62-56 tonight.
