SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—Hobart first-year
Adam Ondris scored with 4:29 remaining in regulation to lift the top-ranked Statesmen to a 1-0 victory over rival Skidmore in a SUNYAC game at the Saratoga Springs City Rink this afternoon.

Mavrick Goyer stopped all 20 shots he faced as he earned the shutout. It was Goyer's 17th career shutout.
Kyle Ozgun played 58 minutes in goal for Skidmore. He made 32 saves. In addition to the 32 saves, Skidmore blocked 21 shots.
STREAKING
- Hobart has now won 24 straight games and extended its unbeaten streak to 31 games.
- The Statesmen have won 12 straight road contests.
FOR THE RECORD
- The Statesmen improve to 18-0-0 on the season and 11-0-0 in SUNYAC play. Hobart's 18 wins to start the season are a program record.
- Skidmore is now 7-9-2 on the year with a 4-6-1 mark in conference play.
THE WINNER
- Skidmore called for a timeout with 4:36 remaining in regulation. Following the break, Arvega Hovsepyan won a faceoff back to the point. Josh Doolan's initial shot was blocked by a defender. Skating into the low slot, Ondris picked up the rebound and flipped the shot over Ozgun for his fourth goal of the season. Doolan and Hovsepyan were awarded assists on the tally.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Hobart finished the game with a 33-20 advantage in shots on goal.
- In addition to 33 shots on goal and 21 blocked shots, the Statesmen hit three goal posts.
- Neither team scored on the power play. The Statesmen were 0-for-1 with the man advantage and Skidmore was 0-for-4 with the extra attacker.
CLIMBING THE LADDER
- Senior forward Tristan Fasig played in his 100th career game today. He is the fourth Statesman to hit that milestone this season. This is the third time in program history that Hobart has had four players reach the 100th career game plateau in the same season.
- Today's shutout was Hobart's seventh of the season. That is third on the program's single-season list.
