3/9/2026 5:08:00 PM

GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart lacrosse team will return to Boswell Field at Urick Stadium for a non-conference matchup with Le Moyne beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10.

The game will be webcast on HWS All-Access and broadcast by WHWS-FM (105.7). Fans can also track the action with Live Stats on HWSAthletics.com.

This will be the third straight season the Statesmen have faced the Dolphins. Hobart won the first two contests, prevailing 20-9 on Boswell Field in 2024 followed by a 13-8 triumph in Syracuse last year.

SCOUTING HOBART (1-5)
  • Hobart's defense is ranked in the top 25 in the nation in four statistical categories: opponent clearing percentage (3rd, .719), man-down defense (4th, .864), caused turnovers per game (20th, 9.33) and saves per game (23rd, 12.17).
  • Since winning its season opener over Canisius, the Statesmen have suffered five straight losses, including three games decided by two goals or less.
  • Hobart is coming off a 14-10 loss at UAlbany on Saturday.
  • Senior attackman Connor DiTomasso scored four first half goals to lead the Statesmen to a 6-6 halftime tie, but the Great Danes used a 4-1 scoring advantage in the third quarter to propel them to victory.
  • First-year goalie Michael Johnson made a season-high 16 saves at UAlbany.
  • The Great Danes came into the game leading the nation in man-up offense, but Hobart killed off all three of UAlbany's extra-man opportunities.
  • First-year defenseman Colman Craft leads the Atlantic 10 and is second in the nation in caused turnovers per game, averaging 3.17 takeaways per game. With 19 caused turnovers through six games, he is already sixth on Hobart's single season list.
  • The Statesmen offense has four players with 10 or more points this season, led by senior midfielder David Peterkin's 17 points on seven goals and team-high 10 assists.
  • DiTomasso has a team-leading nine goals.
  • Despite battling a nagging injury, senior Seamus Schofield has played in all six games and leads the team with 25 ground balls. He has a .448 faceoff winning percentage.

SCOUTING LE MOYNE (1-6)
  • The Dolphins stopped a season-opening four-game slide with a 7-6 win at St. Bonaventure to close out February.
