Along with his All-Conference selections, Dhiman capped his successful rookie season with a PING All-Region selection, which was announced earlier this week. He was just the second Statesman in program history to be selected to the all-region team.
The Kingston, Jamaica, native led Hobart this season with a 73.9 stroke average in 14 rounds of golf. Dhiman had five top 10 finishes in his rookie season, including a victory in the Oswego Fall Invitational where he finished five under par at the two-day tournament. On Day 2 of the invitational, he shot a season-best 68, which was three under par, helping him secure his first collegiate win. He was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week for his performances on the links. Dhiman concluded his rookie season with an impressive fourth place finish at the Liberty League Championships, finishing even par.
Gregg earned a spot on the honorable mention team after a strong rookie season that saw him collect four top 10 finishes and a 74.9 stroke average through 14 rounds of golf. He opened his collegiate career with a strong performance at the Pitt-Bradford Kickoff Classic, finishing tied for second at +3 to help Hobart secure the team victory. Gregg also finished second out of 51 golfers at the Oswego Fall Invitational after finishing six over par. He was selected the Liberty League Rookie of the Week after a solid showing at the McDaniel Spring Invitational, finishing fourth. Long was selected the Liberty League Co-Coaching Staff of the Year after a standout season that saw the Statesmen produce five top three finishes on the season. He is the first Hobart head coach to earn this award in program history. This year, Long shared the award with the University of Rochester coaching staff. Long and the Statesmen opened the season with a win at the Pitt-Bradford Kickoff Classic. The win was the third first place finish of his coaching career. Long then led Hobart to a third-place finish at the conference championships. It was Hobart's best finish at a conference championship since 2005. In just his third season at the helm of the Hobart golf program, Long had two players earn all-conference recognition. It was the first time the Statesmen have been recognized by the league since the 2020-21 season.
